Stopped in today to have a new seat cover for my sons dirt bike put on. I had the seat cover so basically i needed stetching and stapling that was needed. I spoke with the only person there who was the owner this is a husband and wife business the wife was very friendly and stated she had been doing upholstery work for 40 years that she would staple the seat cover for me for 40 dollars a little much but she wasnt hesitate about doing the work so i was helping her.About10 minutes into the process her husband came in and took ... read more

I had this shop reupholster a sofa. The material is somewhat like corduroy with very marked lines. The fabric I chose was railroaded, which means that the fabric was woven with lines running across the fabric like railroad ties and not regular weave which has the lines running the length of the bolt of material. All fabric with lines is run vertically regardless of the weave. The shop ran the lines horizontally and actually pieced the material into three segments to simulate cushions.
