Since 1983, Professional Tutors of America has been providing one-to-one tutoring for thousands of children throughout the United States. Their tutors are all Professionals who have a minimum of a 4 year college degree. Most of their tutors are credentialed teachers who are specialists in their respective areas and levels of education, including bilingual and special education. I really like the programs they have military members and veterans.

Simply the Best – I have worked for Professional Tutors of America for about a 1 and 1/2 and I can honestly say I love them! Prior to working with this company I worked for another undisclosed large tutoring company in the the LA area and they are not up to par with the standards of PTA. As an employee, I don't feel like a number my supervisor Cesar answers my concerns in a timely manner. questions and concerns – I am a fully credentialed teacher-tutoring with professional tutors of america. I have been taken off the list of tutors because I am not bilingual or a woman. I think it is discrimination to be left out for the reasons mentioned and I will probably seek legal attention. I have been a tutor for over four years and I feel that my credentials alone should allow me to tutor latino children.
