We tried several businesses in Townsville and g he said they where working 2 weeks ahead or they didn't repair Yamaha Generators as the parts where hard to get hold of. Called into Professional Small Engines and told them we where travellers and like to camp off grid when we can and we need a Generator to do that. They where such nice people and had it fixed for us. Very professional friendly service and always ready to give me great advice when I need it. Parts are usually readily available.
Just putting this out there as a small business owner. Our fees for servicing machines are driven by our income taxes , our payg taxes, our super, our rent, our insurance, our electricity, our bank fees, our wages and lack of staff. Yes it is our choice to own the business, but understand that not all businesses are jacked up to rip off you the consumer.
