Popped in as my rear gear cable was bust on my ride from Carstairs to Glasgow. He fixed it on the spot and only for a tenner with great customer service. Such a shame that he has to close his shop down (28th Feb) due to personal circumstances
Any recommend enough nice staff and a good atmosphere. Always helpful on anything that is need and good value too.Will be going back whenever possible.
Stopped by Proam cycles due to burst tire on lands end to john o'groats end to end trip in October. On top of getting the tire sorted out quickly, the guy took at the wobble on the back wheel and gave good advice on where go get the right replacement brake pads. Great service and very friendly place. Can't recommend this shop enough!

Sadly this guy didn't have much time for me as a non-cyclist. I was continuously de-prioritised in favour of 'real' cyclists that came into his shop, and when I purchased a bike, he didn't bother to make sure it was the right size or let me have a go of it before purchase. He just wanted my money and me out of the door. As a result I spent hundreds of pounds on an unsuitable bike and feel conned.
