I went in for an appointment to select and fit custom insoles for my new leather Alpina Explore Pro cross-country ski boots. I was intending to purchase the Sidas Custom Cross country insoles but their stock was extremely limited to only the least sold size. I came out with a weird combination of Sidas Outdoor insoles and a contraption glued onto the bottom of an insole meant for hiking boots. It's worth the drive from Seattle to get truly professional ski boot fitting here. And better yet, they won't try to sell you stuff you don't need!
Ordering things through them was a pleasure. They offered substitutes for items that had been oversold, communicated well, and best of all shipped smart (put everything into the box of the sandals that I ordered). Good stuff.
TLDR Pro Ski didnt wax their rental touring skis, causing me to get stuck on the hills. Thanks Mike for responding to my review. Personally I think he implied that we shouldnt trust the store in the first place. I have to agree he is right but i want to remind Mike that ski renters are usually inexperience in the sport and would highly value their guidance.
