I purchased a bike off of FB marketplace and brought it to ProForm to get sized correctly to it. Ken was fantastic to work with and got the bike adjusted to fit me properly. I will definitely be back to ProForm in the near future. Thank you.
Was treated like second class because I own ebike owner refused to service a simple inner tube change because bike wasn't purchased in his shop I purchased 2 tubes there regardless..he gave me panic attack by telling me this would be a nightmare repair because of my bad choice of purchasing ebike....newsflash it was a typical repair and his loss as he will never see another dollar from me unless I absolutely have to I went out of my way to support his local business today and was slapped in the face. Go to spin zone.
I bought a used bike thru a private seller and used ProForm bike shop as the intermediary. Theyre communication and knowledge helped put me at ease. Great people!
A few weeks ago I went in to have a new cassette put on a wheel, which of course meant removing the old cassette first. For removing the old cassette and installing the new one, the bill was $10. Today I went in to have a cassette removed from an old wheel and put on a new wheel. This time the bill was $20. When I asked why it was double compared to a few weeks ago, the woman told me that they didn't charge me enough-that it was $10 to remove a cassette from the old wheel and $10 to put it on the new one. They buy bikes from Marketplace and try to lowball you on the price, then sell that bike in the used side of the shop. GO TO SPIN ZONE, great bike shop and very active local bicyclists with great community involvement!
