Had a really different experience than others here. Private Island sound designed my short and the work they did was truly astounding. Robin has been nothing but friendly and very easy to work with, and Mike is a gifted sound artist.Ive worked on several large studio productions and the caliber of work by Private Island is on par. Cant recommend them enough!

Private Island Trax? Try Private Island SUX.Seriously, these people don;t know a mic cables from a string and two tin cans. This has to be the most incompetently run studio in all of Los Angeles.And the "business manager" Robin is an insane psychopath.Incredible. No reason to waste time or money in this place.Stay Away.

very good amature studio. It is the cheapest studio for a reason. Loses tracks! Runs Pro Tools on OS9.
