Update: some time after sending an email I got a response saying that they’ll repair or refund the bike. Today I met Russ at the store as requested only to have him blame me for all the problems with the bike yet again. The fact that torque mode doesn’t work, there’s rusty overtightened screws and rubbing brakes is my fault? Before I know it Russ was getting aggressive with me and I couldn’t even stay in the store anymore. I’m not sure how this place gets so many good reviews. We had been doing research online for e-bikes and literally picked this shop randomly, and I am so glad we did! The staff were very knowledgeable and friendly. We were able to test ride several different e-bikes and I eventually chose the Velotric Breeze. My husband is also now considering an e-bike, and we would gladly make the drive from Philly to this shop again. I love the fact that the owner donates 20% of the proceeds to the Boys and Girls Club of America.
Absolute nightmare experience and money pit bike. Princeton E bikes may be the place for you if you’re Looking for a bike to put in your garage and forget about, willing to shell out extra money for, “assembly fees” and I have enough money to take it back for service, every week. This is the 2nd e-bike we’ve bought from Princeton E-bikes. We had a great experience buying an Aventon, and I recently bought a Velotric for myself. Because of the weather only got out a few times but I love the bike and had another great experience with the purchase. These folks are e-bike evangelists, and they’re committed to helping the community through their support of Boys and Girls Clubs.
Great experience buying our first e-bike from Princeton eBikes which we absolutely love and use as a second vehicle for our family. Everyone at Prinnceton eBikes was v. knowledgable and zero hard-selling. These folks are driven by the bigger mission to give their profits to a worthy local non-profit (Trenton Boys and Girls Club). So glad I found this place.
