Excellent bike shop. They’re friendly and can fix a bike. Can’t ask for more than that.
AVOID! Had them change my front wheel after an accident & they didn’t connect the brake back on properly. Went back to them and now they are asking for an additional £30 to fix their mistake! Also guy on the counter was playing on his phone while the phone was ringing, so if you struggle to get a response, you know what they are doing UPDATE: after going to a reputable second Bike shop it turns out that Primo loosened my brakes before passing it back to me. Avoid: Unsafe Bikes, Shady Terms, Rude Staff, More expensive than competitors Unsafe bikes: Both rentals were poorly maintained and borderline dangerous on the road. Unclear T&Cs: A “week” now means six days. Previously, returns were based on 24-hour periods - suddenly (and without any warning at pick up) it is now by close of business on day six, no matter when you started your rental. It's better to not have your bike serviced than to have it serviced here. 18 months later, I'm still finding problems with my bikes. They convinced me to change my cranks and used a different crank length and replaced my pedals with children's pedals. They don't know what a torque wrench is so all the bolts were over-tightened and the bike stiff and mechanical gear cables frayed as a result. It may also explain the multiple squeaks that developed. MASSIVE Thanks to the team at Primo - I was really in trouble with my Trek Rail, the young lad on the desk (from Madrid) was really helpful and pulled all the stops to help me out, the mechanic stepped up and fixed my bike immediately, this is a superb bike shop, really helpful ... thanks for the support lads, really appreciate .. 10/10
