DECEPTIVE BILLING PRACTICES. If you have a Homestead being protested, Do not use them. They pulled a fast one on me. Their contract says the savings on “market value”. You are not taxed by Bexar County on “market value” for Homestead, you are taxed on the “assessed value” after your homestead exemption is subtracted from the “market value”. They charged me over $500 for bringing down the market value of my home for a “hypothetical tax savings” if I were paying taxes on market value. Expensive ($100 flat fee per account plus 35% of property tax savings based on the change in market value) with no results! Read the contract carefully before you sign it!
