I drove there today excited to see the store and buy a variety of things, only to have the older woman at the front desk tell me I could only enter if I had a medical card. More importantly, I felt like she was talking down to me, like I was some addict off the street or something. I have multiple sclerosis, and in Maine and Mass I can just walk into any cannabis store without a doctor’s note, and spend hundreds on whatever I want to ease my nerve pain.
