This is the place I go for fresh, affordable vegetables, especially if they're of Hispanic origin. Habanero, Jalapeño, Serrano hot peppers are very nearly always available, just to name a few. They've also got some of the cheapest tomatoes I've seen, relative to the other markets in the area.
