Families beware. They will promise the moon to get you in the door, but once your in, every little thing is an upcharge. Then once they start to charge you, the care never changes and you really have to stay on them to make sure your loved one is taking care of. And if they are dementia patients requiring actual memory care, this is definitely not the place for you. Preston Place in Sherman, TX is a wonderful home for my father. The facility is well managed and clean. The staff is great and they treat the residents with care and respect. I am so pleased that we found such a good fit for our family. Update: Many thanks to all the hard working, caring staff at Preston Place. My father recently passed and their kindness and attention to him in his final days was so comforting to us. I went to visit my grandpa and I was walking around with him. I believe her name was Nicole Pryor, she was very helpful. She not only joked around with my grandpa and made him laugh, she made me feel good that he was here. Thank you to all the staff.
