Everybody was upbeat and helpful although information should travel faster between employees because the person that answered the phone on the day I went to visit did not know there was a covid lockdown and told me to go ahead and come and that was a 3-hour drive there and 3-hour drive back so yeah just make sure all employees are informed thank you oh and my girlfriend did end up getting covid anyways even though she was vaccinated twice and isolated in a room by herself so yeah
Mother and uncle are currently in Prestige Clarkston. They have gone out of their way to allow them to have meals together and for my brother, dad and I to visit now that quarantine is over.
Let me start by saying I really hope more people start to question the actual "care" their senior citizen family members are getting from this type of facility. My 76 year old mother recently suffered from a stroke caused by high blood pressure. Mom was placed at Prestige for rehab purposes. The care she was given was substandard. There was only one short session a day for her physical rehab, and the cognitive tests she under went were very inadequate and completely pointless.
