The activation instructions on the PC Mastercard are wrong. When I explained that I needed help to activate my new card, I was told "everyone knows to insert the new card on first use". So I was being told I was stupid. In the end I was told to ask for a new card on the website. The employee had no tools to help. I wanted to cut up new card and not ask for a new one. I do not know why there is an employee there when they have no tools.
Be careful when you purchase lottery tickets with your PC Financial Master Card . They do charge immediately and to their discretion between 5 to 10 CND as a CASH EQUIVALENT FEE in your statement . This is weird, unacceptable and inconsistent because not at all lottery places …. It happens the same . Actually I believe it is ilegal. My next move will be to denounce it to BBB Canada .
Be mindful that if you use a simplii card, you will pay $3 of convenience fee at the ATM.
