My mom was around 90 and needed extra help. I was told they had one bed left and was sent a packet which I immediately filled out and returned. When I called back I was told that person no longer handled placement and didn’t know what she was talking about. I spoke with someone from the state who said it was likely an issue with my mother’s age and they want the $$$, not wanting to deal with Medicaid. Discrimination.
