When hospital staff explicitly tell you not to send your loved one back to a facility, take it seriously. My mother entered PresCare Groundwater Lodge in mid-May, still mobile with the aid of a wheelie walker. Less than two months later, she had deteriorated so dramatically under their care that staff suggested palliative care. We chose instead to transfer her to Maryborough Hospital—thankfully. PresCare Groundwater Lodge has truly exceeded my expectations! The staff are incredibly kind and attentive, making sure every resident feels comfortable and well cared for. The new Bottlebrush Household is absolutely lovely! The space feels warm, modern, and thoughtfully designed, providing a real sense of home. You can tell a lot of care has gone into creating these rooms—there’s a beautiful, peaceful energy that makes the residents feel comfortable and at ease. Very clean, and quite big... Not much else to say... the people are lovely
