Horrible place. Like a prison. Extremely overpowering smell of chemicals. Televisions left on at loud volumes in the residents' rooms while they are trying to sleep and so many televisions all on at the same time all over the main areas.The courtyard grounds are like prison yards with no lawn. The residents rooms look out onto iron fencing right outside the windows which adds to the prison like environment. Very harsh lights on during the day in residents rooms. My aunt has been a resident at Alexandra Gardens for 7 years now. We are her next of kin and visit her at least once a week and speak over the phone, often. We want to shout out to all the wonderful carers she has had over those 7 years. But, especially, of late, Kerry and Kylie in Jasmine Court have been exceptional. They really do a wonderful job and we are so grateful.
