GOOD LUCK! Karol is a crook, she loves doing your taxes, loves taken your $ when she is done, she must hate to file however. 2 yrs in a row she has not filed ours, last yr she lost tax id, this just didn't???? after 2 months picked them up and sent them in myself. She is a crook, and after 8 yrs of good service she has lost her mind the last two. We have learned our lesson.
This was our third year having Karol prepare our taxes, and both have been failures. We just figured the first year, it was mostly our mistake with a wrong last name on a tax return. But we called her several occassions to fix it, left messages and never really did know if it got straightened out. Finally 1 and a half years later, the IRS just now gets us our 2005 tax return, but were unable to receive our Home and Heating Credit because of the late filing that was about $500! I have been a client of Karols for about 4 years and I have to say when she does the taxes she is great, however trying to get her to call back is about impossible. You leave message after message with her cro-nies and they cant even keep the lies straight from why Karol has not returned your call. The problem is that she overbooks and cant keep up with her own damn schedule, when you show up for your appointment it takes on average an hour to hour and a half for her to get to you. Use at your own risk......
I am totally and completely disgusted with the service, or should I say LACK OF SERVICE, we have received from this accountant. She has totally avoided all of our phone calls, has not returned ONE SINGLE message we have left, filed at least two extensions without first asking our permission or informing us what she was doing, has lied to us time and time again and has used countless excuses as to whey she was not able to get our taxes done (it's May 16th and everyone knows taxes are due by April 15th) She is repulsive to me ... read more
