I had an unfortunate experience of my gimbal crashing out and unfortunately my Sony GM2 16-35mm took a nose dive! It's been a horrendous experience with Precision Camera. First, you can't reach anyone by phone. It either disconnects you or just rings and rings and rings. They falsely claimed that a malfunction on our lens was due to "physical damage" so they can make money to repair a brand new lens.
Worst customer service ever, their call center sent me to their email for a camera repair request, four days later no reply after multiple follow ups.
Took 17 weeks to repair my ricoh camera, I asked for a discount and they refused my offer.
I had an issue with my sony a7III. A while back my shutter blades got stuck and ever since i started noticing a light leak on my pictures. I contacted PC and the process was very simple an straight forward, and they contacted me with the diagnostic and work needed before moving forward.They received the camera on March 13th nd I received it fixed today March 21st. They replaced the shutter unit and MB charge unit. Although the labor was not the cheapest, i think it was fair and worth it.
