Always friendly staff and willing to help. Even unexpectedly when I called they couldn't quite give me an answer however the lady called me back after diligently and unknowingly to me work so hard to get me the right answer from an attorney. That made me feel great about their work behind the scenes. My attorney Gabbie is fierce. She great to work with, thorough, gives amazing advice, and doesnt take nonsense from anyone. Very educated in her field to battle just about anyone. Highly recommend!
I’ve always heard nothing but great things about Prairie State Legal Services…. But……… I can’t say that I agree. Attorney is nice enough & will give good advice while you’re speaking in person AFTER a court date, but refuses to email back, call back, etc, after WEEKS of trying to contact. Even the office won’t accept calls. It rings once or twice after you dial the prompt to speak with someone & then it doesn’t give you any other option but to leave a vm… and you still don’t get a call back. They don't even answer the phone at all. I am trying to get help no answer says voicemail is s full. Terrible not good at all no response at all. Even when u calm the 1800 number it says full that's terrible. What kind of business is this.
Isn't it terrible that they claim that they're helping people that need legal aid! I've been leaving messages for almost 3 weeks and no one ever, ever contacts me back.
i have used prairie state since 2019 and they have been nothing but patient, kind, courteous and very informative they always answer any questions i have and make me feel at ease i had danessa T represent me in the earlier years and now Claire A they are both hardworking woman they answer my questions in a timely manner they are so quick to type everything up ready for court , only con is just trying to get through to someone per they're office, it is always better to email since they are sometimes / majority times at the co... read more
