I would give 00 stars if I could! These people are paid by the state, therefore having them assist anyone with regards to any State matter is a conflict of interest! I was under the influence of chemo at the time they screwed me over, otherwise I would’ve had my wits about me and I would’ve realized that. I didn’t realize until after the fact! I wasn't able to ever talk to anyone, because though I called several times trying to get ahold of a telephone counselor, I couldn't get through. This, and after driving an hour to the Woodstock office based on a referral who literally spoke to someone there and was told to tell me to go in for an intake meeting to get legal help with them, I showed up, was told regardless of my referral, they currently have no attorneys taking cases and was given their 1-800 number, and then once again never got through. Unbelievable.

I think it's safe to say, no one here is getting rich quick. These kind people give more than most can appreciate or understand. I've seen some negative reviews here where some people clearly don't understand the process or protocol to receive their help. And even following those protocols doesn't guarantee you will get exactly what you'd hoped for, most commonly because they have an already full plate. You just can't take this personally.
