I had been a resident of Prairie House for 6 years. Every year it got worse That's why all the reviews they show you start in 2013 up to 2020. The place is an absolute disaster. Don't even think about going there.

Prairie house hired my company to do work and 5 months later still have not received payment after the job was completed for an agreed upon price. I’m very disappointed to be treated this way after we went above and beyond to provide a great service.

I have relatives in this facility and when I visit the place is nothing like is posted on the web. The food listed on the webpage is not even close to the slop they feed the residents. The people running this place are not even friendly. I wish there were other options in this area.

My husband is here and I am shocked at how rude the staff is. My daughters were attempting to assist me in addressing the negligent attention they are providing my husband. He was dirty and hadn’t had his clothes changed and hadn’t been showered in over four days and he smelled bad. One daughter approached a staff member who said she didn’t have time and another daughter called the director who became argumentative and hung up on us. This is no way to treat a resident or their family members.

My father has been here for just over two years and this place is horrible. Recently, my father's room smell's worse than my cat's litter box and he was in the same soiled clothing for four days. When I went to address these issues with the Director of the facility she kept cutting me off mid-sentence and told me she didn't like my tone and hung up on me.
