This was a beautiful and well thought out set of trails. It was neat to see such a carefully arranged attempt at recreating the prarie. We walked a good distance and saw a fair amount of wildlife, including large turtles, deer and snakes. Note: there are a great deal of ticks on these trails. We briefly hiked several of the “mowed” trails and found at least a dozen ticks on us afterwards. This was despite wearing bug repellent, tucking socks into pants, etc. So beware!

What a beautiful gem! Dale was very kind, informative and pointed us in the right direction to enjoy our hike. We found Prairie Garden Trust on the AllTrails app and was unaware we had to schedule a visit, but glad we were welcomed, as this was an incredible experience! Thank you for preserving this beautiful land.

An absolute Eden. Prairies, ponds, a huge variety of native plants. Call in advance or check for guided tours and sign up. Check the website to learn more.

Really lovely. I think it's great what they are doing. I just don't like having to arrange visits in advance. Otherwise, I'd go more often, as I didn't get to see the whole place.
