We visited recently for a guided nature walk. The PGT is a wonderful place to visit and enjoy a relaxing walk
This place is beautiful, they have the most clean and nice bathrooms ever! The lily pond is my favorite!
This was a beautiful and well thought out set of trails. It was neat to see such a carefully arranged attempt at recreating the prarie. We walked a good distance and saw a fair amount of wildlife, including large turtles, deer and snakes. Note: there are a great deal of ticks on these trails. We briefly hiked several of the “mowed” trails and found at least a dozen ticks on us afterwards. This was despite wearing bug repellent, tucking socks into pants, etc. So beware!
This is a must see and experience place if you love the outdoors.
What a beautiful gem! Dale was very kind, informative and pointed us in the right direction to enjoy our hike. We found Prairie Garden Trust on the AllTrails app and was unaware we had to schedule a visit, but glad we were welcomed, as this was an incredible experience! Thank you for preserving this beautiful land.
