Wonderful nature area
We visited recently for a guided nature walk. The PGT is a wonderful place to visit and enjoy a relaxing walk
This place is beautiful, they have the most clean and nice bathrooms ever! The lily pond is my favorite!
This was a beautiful and well thought out set of trails. It was neat to see such a carefully arranged attempt at recreating the prarie. We walked a good distance and saw a fair amount of wildlife, including large turtles, deer and snakes. Note: there are a great deal of ticks on these trails. We briefly hiked several of the “mowed” trails and found at least a dozen ticks on us afterwards. This was despite wearing bug repellent, tucking socks into pants, etc. So beware!
This is a must see and experience place if you love the outdoors.
