We love this place! Great trails leading to Hillers Creek and wildflowers everywhere. Grass and paved trails are well marked, beautiful and peaceful.
*** Be Prepared for TICKS *** We visited on June 14, 2026. It was absolutely beautiful gardens and facility. Tons of flowers. I actually saw several Hummingbird Moths which was a real treat! But, the ticks are unbearable. Even with the DEET. We do plan to visit again. However, we plan to wear clothes that have been treated with permethrin and use a spray with a higher concertation of DEET or Picaridin (Deep woods) spray.
Beautiful. Lots of wild flowers. Ticks were unbearable, however. Went on May 16. Couldn’t walk 20 paces without getting covered in seed ticks. Tried to walk some more and the whole trail seemed to be loaded. So I turned back and walked the paved trail.
