BCOB is a NO – Do you want an accountant or a financial planner who cares about you as the client? Don't choose BCOB or Bill Powers. I used to use BCOB when I lived in the seacoast area. I was appalled at the lack of client services. I was also appalled by the manner in which I was treated by the receptionist. This company is run like a bad doctor's office with LONG lunch breaks, poor customer service, and no real results. BCOB used to run well when Bruce and Ron were there. DON'T EVER USE BCOB OR BILL POWERS AS A CPA – The worst mistake I ever made was to trust this company as of late. BCOB used to have very knowledgeable, trustworthy and personable partners until recently (2007). This business is a sinking ship full of captains who don't know how to steer the ship. The woman who answers the phone at BCOB is an absolute witch and some of the current partners (2008) spend more time out of the office than they do actually working on your taxes or finances.
