We have used PTR several times. They are responsive, and always friendly when you walk in. Today, I got an email that my husband's tool was ready for pickup before their normal business hours. I emailed back and asked on the off chance if he could come by and grab the tool before they opened and they responded immediately with: I will unlock the front door. Not really happy with the service (lack of) I received when I called them. I have a 48v 2ah tool battery that the charging port needs replaced on. They only service the tools and don't do anything as far as repairs on the tool batteries. Whomever I spoke with told me to contact Interstate Battery. Interstate only deals with car batteries. I found a generic makita replacement for under $50 that should fit the tool I have. Thanks for nothing and wasting my time.

My Porter-Cable drill was too old to fix. The good news is that in the end it didn't need fixing. I was treated quite well, the staff was quite helpful.
