I usually am a satisfied customer at Powell's Bay Roberts but on Jan 1st, I bought a blueberry Golden Crust Swiss roll that was supposed to be best before Jan 2nd. It looked okay and of course I took a bite without thinking twice. Suddenly the moldy taste hit me. It was around 7pm when I called the store to complain, right after I had tasted the cake. Best produce and bread around.
Well organized, clean, lots of variety. Their garden center is great too. The Best super market I've ever visited.
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The food at the little restaurant, Nans Kitchen, was delicious.
Worst elcaires in the world! Dry empty bread with terrible sweaty chocolate dribbled on top. There's sand paper that makes a better dessert
