This was my first massage, so I was nervous and hesitant, but Brian helped me feel comfortable. I have epilepsy and my seizures often leave me with a lot of body ache and tension. I’m also a caregiver, so I have a bad back. My tension was totally relieved when I left. Totally recommend!!
Beware! I had an extremely creepy and upsetting experience with Brian Koontz. During my second massage with him, he suggested he position my arm so I didn’t “flash boob.” He then regaled me with two stories of times when women had accidentally done just that. Brian has been my massage therapist for almost 2 years with monthly appointments. His years of experience have been vital in helping me deal with my back pain caused by decades of construction work. His work on my body and has been so important in helping me keep working as a carpenter into my late 60's. He has always been professional and conscientious and I would highly recommend Brian.
If you are looking for a deep tissue/acupressure massage, then avoid booking with Ryoko. She was unable to apply adequate pressure/tension and I unfortunately left with the same discomfort I can with. While paying, she recommended I book with Brian instead since he’s stronger. While she was perfectly pleasant, I wish this had been a conversation before we had started.
