My family and I recently stayed in Ocean Isle Beach (OIB), NC and I wanted to explore some fun group activities, in case of rainy weather. I searched "pottery" and found the Pottery Playhouse. I booked our group (of 4, which then became 6!) and we were able to enjoy a fantastic afternoon of creating/painting unique and memorable pottery pieces. The best experience ever... The mother and daughter team (owners) were so helpful and friendly. We had lots of questions, and they had all the answers. We were there for about 3 hours painting the day away and had a fabulous time. We are so excited to go back next week and pick up our creations and see the final outcome once they've been fired in the kiln. We will be back to do more projects really soon. Thank you for such a wonderful experience today. We appreciated your hospitality and kindness.

Weather was calling for rain all day and we said, “hey, let’s go do some pottery.” Like most folks we googled the closest one and Playhouse Pottery OIB popped up. When we arrived, we walked in and began to peruse the pieces. Shortly after, a lady came out of the bathroom and in a very rude voice said, “we’re closed”.
