Went in the store to ask a simple question about returning a personalized item. Just wondering if that was something that they did in store when I asked associate she said she had to ask her manager because it’s 50-50. The manager (Brian)approached me, looked me up and down like I did not belong. He told me the answer was no, which would have been fine. I had a very disappointing experience at this Pottery Barn Kids. As a young mom, I came in with my brother to shop for my child, but instead of being welcomed, we felt racially profiled by the associates. The way we were watched and treated made the entire visit extremely uncomfortable. Shopping for your kids should be a joyful experience, not one where you feel judged or unwelcome. I hope management takes this seriously, because no customer should have to feel this way. We will not be back.

We went crib shopping today and visited two other well-known stores, but were disappointed to learn they no longer had nursery furniture on the floor for us to see. We ended up making a 30-minute drive to Pottery Barn Kids, where we were greeted by Brian, who turned our entire experience into a beyond positive one.
