Ordered a glass top cocktail table. The glass top spontaneously “EXPLODED” sending glass pieces throughout the room. Pottery Barn said the glass is under pressure. And yes this has happened before. Funny there was NO DANGER top may spontaneously explode signs in the catalogue. And no mention of the glass being “under pressure.” And NO Response from Pottery Barn, replacements, refunds or otherwise.
Great sales person. Very nice very helpful. Ordered complete living room furniture. The two recliners are not what we expected. They don’t push all the way back. It is very difficult to push them back down. I have to stand up and push it in with my hands. Very disappointed. The repairman said nothing could be done. This is a safety issue. I already got a large gash on my leg while pushing the chair in. Also just saw the wool rug we bought on Amazon for 400.00 less than we paid. I purchased 2 recliners in February. They arrived mid-June. Now, not even a month later, one is broken - making a loud noise like it’s out of the track. Called Pottery Barn to return them which they said the couldn’t do because it was “custom” because we selected the fabric. But … the chair doesn’t come with fabric … the buyer has to make a fabric selection. I’ve spent thousands of dollars at Pottery Barn but they will not get a penny more from me.
Remember when Pottery Barn cared about customer service! Remember when they stood for quality and customer care. I just waited three weeks for an outdoor table to be delivered. It arrived broken. They don’t have another. So we were willing to pay another $1000 to get our second favorite but was just hoping we could get some consideration for an expedited deliver. Nothing! Spoke to a manager, explained we have company and really need a table as I just gave away our old Pottery barn table as this was being delivered. Nothing! ... read more
