I have had bad experiences with PB Lighting products. The products have lovely finishes, and work well when they arrive in tact, but PB quality control is terrible. On two separate orders, lighting fixtures have arrived broken. The items were well packaged, suggesting to me that the problem occurs in the PB warehouse and not in the delivery process. Given the cost of the items, the long wait times for delivery, and the crap shoot as to whether they will arrive in tact, I will not be using Pottery Barn in the future for light... read more
BUYER BEWARE!! POTTERY BARN ARE SCAMMERS!! POTTERY BARN ARE SCAM ARTISTS!! Be VERY careful when ordering online from these crooks. Not only do they charge exorbitant delivery fees ($300+) for a carpet, they then scam you by suggesting an underpad for said carpet and then sneakily add another $200 delivery fee for that product (even though is costs less than that!!). Awful customer service and delayed delivery of items: I recently purchased a couple of picture frames on September 16, 2025. It’s been more than a month and the products haven’t been delivered yet. This is happening when I have paid extra for shipping charges. To add to this worst customer experience, my credit card was charged twice for the same order and now I have to call the store from where I placed the order as well as reach out to the customer service to investigate why my credit card was charged twice.
Atrocious customer service from the “manager” herself. Firstly, I was ready to check out with my one item and she was at the cash and told another employee to cash me out and said “I’m giving you all the customers today because I don’t want any of them”. Professionalism? Apparently she hasn’t heard of it. Secondly, I was purchasing a hand painted candle from the front table display that had a sign reading “30% off hand painted candles”. Paid over $300 for Pottery Barn’s “White Glove” delivery service just to be told upon arrival that they don’t mount/install products. All they did was remove packaging. No clear warning during checkout or on the product page. Customer service was of no help and lacked any ounce of understanding. Total waste of money and incredibly misleading.
