Remind me to never buy anything from this place again! There was a mess up on their side, I ended up having to pay for it and they won’t refund other than to merch card. Everyone from customer service was giving me a different story. Unbelievable!
Ordered a custom upholstered bed in May. Time for delivery in July and on delivery day told my bed was damaged. Got the run around for weeks by the shipping company. Pottery Barn kept directing me to them instead of helping me. Then I was told it was stained and they were cleaning it. More run around. I would call the Lynnfield store where I purchased it and their customer liaison would act like I was bothering her, would try to push me off to the shipping company. Again today. Another defective item. Don’t buy the “Retreat Fabric Shower Curtain Liner.” It’s fabric and not water resistant. I had to pay again to buy another shower liner. PB is no longer trustworthy and do not stand behind their products. I just tossed out another of their items which wasn’t even delivered clean. It was dirty. I’d skip and order from Crate and Barrell.
We purchased a chandelier from Pottery Barn Kids as a floor item in-store. At no point were we told that any parts were missing. When my husband picked it up, he specifically asked if everything was in the box, and the staff assured him that it was complete. Unfortunately, that was not true. When our handyman came to install it, he pointed out that a critical component — the ceiling base — was missing. If you visit the Lynnfield Pottery Barn location, you MUST work with Kiki! She works at the Pottery Barn for Kids and the main Pottery Barn store depending on the day and time, so definitely ask for her. If she's at the Pottery Barn for Kids, she will walk over to the main store with you. Her design perspective is unique, modern, edgy and classic all at once.
