Shopped at this location today and I had such a pleasant experience with Sarah that I had to do a Google review. We have been shopping all day and hadn’t found what we needed and she was the only one that assisted us truly to help us. Talk out what we needed. She was also the only one that made us feel welcome to shop at the store as we went to many luxury stores today! We found exactly what we needed and more! Big thank you for all your great tips and help getting our goodies for our events!
In this particular location, customer service is non existent. I went in to order a dining table, chairs, a bench, night stand and a set of bunk beds for our second home, I had a question about the bunk beds( I was at the Regular pottery barn store adjacent to the kids store) I walked up to 2 associates who were just standing and talking in the lighting section, first asking them about the color of the bunk bed, they quickly told me they could not help me, I needed to go to the other store. Really poor customer experience at this location and overall at corporate level, delayed order, no call backs from Durham, Durham store manager apathetic, wasting time hunting down answers with multiple depts, etc etc .
Big shout out to Joanne for her helpful customer service today! We were completely igniored at Crate & Barrel. We had pre-ordered swatches from both Pottery Barn and C&B for a similar sectional. Today was the day we were testing them in-person and deciding between them. The quality and price was better at PB than C&B. That aside, I was completely turned off from C&B based on their aloof attitude there, even though we were past customers.
