One employee I approached helped me twice. An unhelpful employee approached me from behind and bothered me twice with unwanted, barely audible speech from a distance when I was busy. This employee was a creepy nuisance. Ship to home is the way to interact with this company.
I honestly don't know why they answer the phone saying in home design - because they don't honor it. I tried on two different occasions and then took my business elsewhere. They don't have the staffing to support it at this location. The galleria had a full room furnished and delivered 30 days earlier than expected. If you like pottery barn but also like service, I'd try the galleria.
Unfortunate that they want your business and money but any work involved in follow-up they make very clear that you are a problem; especially on the phone. They need a new manager that is customer obsessed through the entire sale and ownership, not just to get the transaction and on to the next. I was literally told they have “in-store” customers and a meeting to attend so couldn’t talk about my missing custom foot stools that have been PAID IN FULL. The worst customer service. Nonexistent, actually. Not busy at all yesterday and not one salesperson offered to help. Most were busy fluffing pillows. Customer service 101 is the basics, people.
Wow. I spent one whole year. A WHOLE YEAR following up with the pottery barn customer service team to get an item (toddler bed conversion kit) delivered for my child’s crib. I had to proactively call their team over 20 times month after month trying to uncover what logistical errors in their system were preventing my order from arriving.
