Outstanding experience at the Pottery Barn store in Towson, MD! Cherelle went above and beyond helping me furnish a residential lobby, thoughtfully designing several areas including seating with a coffee bar, a banquette table space, and a reception area. I don’t have a strong design eye, but she pulled together beautiful furnishings and accessories that made the space feel warm and welcoming. Exceptional service—if I could give 10 stars, I would! The Towson store is absolutely beautiful.
Extremely Disappointing Experience – Poor Delivery and Customer Service I purchased several expensive furniture pieces from Pottery Barn expecting the premium quality and service the brand advertises. Bought a sofa, chair and a recliner. The light on the recliner broke within two months. I contacted customer service and after ten to fifteen minutes was told someone would come get the chair and I would receive a replacement within a few months. It never happened. Then I removed the cushions from the sofa to wash them, zippered them as instructed and they are very fragile, almost falling apart....definitely not worth the money. The fabric on the recliner is pilling after just a few months.
I scheduled an in person free design service consult after visiting the store. I was assigned Stephanie. On the day of our in person appointment, Stephanie sends us a text and decides it will be a remote appointment instead. She asks us for measurements of the room and pictures. I sent them and she said she’d have a design ready by the following Saturday (7 days later).
