Love PB of course, and this loction is amazing! Everyone is so kind and helpful - Maggie from Mayfaire PB was especially helpful and went above and beyond to assist me! Great store :)
I visited the store with the intention of purchasing a $7,500 sofa online, but unfortunately my in-store experience did not reflect the level of customer service I expected. Although I was the only customer in the store, I was not acknowledged by any of the three associates, who remained engaged in conversation with one another throughout my visit. In addition to this I could not access a large portion of the store with my son’s stroller because of the layout and amount of furniture throughout.
Horrible experience. I have spent a ton of money with Pottery Barn over the years and can easily say that the customer service in its Mayfair store in Wilmington is the absolute worst! You are better off ordering on line or going elsewhere. They are not helpful. They are lazy, and frankly not interested in helping anyone. I live over an hour away and came in and purchased a $300 quilt. Found when I got home that there was a defect. After calling the store and talking with the rude manager Luca, my only option is to drive round trip again. There was no apology, or discount offered for my inconvenience. However, if I had purchased online then they would switch out for free. This store will not get anymore of my business. We have had amazing service with the Raleigh location.
