I have been a customer at this Pottery Barn for 11 years. Today I went to the store to pick up an order, which turned out to be incorrect. The clerk who helped me was very kind, but the manager who has been there since I’ve lived here (boomer, probably, with long dark brown hair) was absolutely rude and pretentious. I recoil when I have to interact with her. She walked by when I was waiting (for 15 minutes) to have service. It shocks me how true customer service has gone by the wayside - perhaps PB corporate doesn’t care about storefronts crashing because of online sales . We weren’t acknowledged when we came in, just heard the employees griping about a customer BY NAME with us right there. Talk about unprofessional. Pretty appalling and I’m tempted to reach out to this customer because her name was familiar. Another interaction was on the verge of rude and so we just left shaking our heads.

I don't like leaving low reviews, but I felt the need to due to the employees in the store and their lack of common courtesy. My girlfriend and I were shopping in the store and were not attended to and as we were leaving we walked right by the front desk where I said "Thank you all" as we were leaving the store and I was completely ignored by the 4 different employees there- I figured they might not have heard me so I turned and said "Have a nice day" and again no response from anyone.
