Came in to the store to look for a guinea pig and I was so extremely surprised and pleased at the care of all the animals and the cleanliness of the store. All the cages were very spacious and clean and the animals were fat, happy and well socialized. I love small animals and am very picky about their care, I always leave pet stores feeling bad for the animals, but I left this store smiling from ear to ear. I am beyond proud to have this store in my town and I will be recommending them to everyone I know.
We drove to Poteau from fort Smith to look at a ferret (not thrilled with petco here). Little high priced but the ferret (now named Gizmo) was taken very good care of. Very socialized and had a decent size temporary home that was kept clean. We are absolutely in love with Gizmo. Was worth the drive and extra $. Thank you Poteau Pets.
Poteau Pets is the only pet shop I will go to. Roger is always there to answer my questions. I asked Roger one day about a certain bird seed, I wanted to know if my lovebird could eat it and he said he sure can. E.B, my lovebird loved the new food. So get on down to Poteau Pets today.
