I left this store at about 4:14 pm on 1/30/26 wearing a brown hat and a black winter outfit. As I quietly looked around, the woman at the register immediately confronted me and repeatedly questioned my presence. I said I was just looking as any customer does, yet, she became visibly upset. When I pointed out the racial profiling, she denied and then told me I “looked scary.” (so… this is racial profiling btw lol). There was nothing threatening about my behavior… only my skin color.
