We have gotten our photos done with Martha many times now. She is always amazing and somehow gets our dogs to look at the camera (I need to sneak a peak at the treats she uses because they are all over them). She’s been great with our special needs (blind and/or deaf) foster dogs as well. Her session fees are more than reasonable and she often donates a portion to local dog rescues. Martha has been taking pics of my family, pets, and rescue foster dogs for years. She is extremely talented and professional. Many of my dogs over the years have been special needs and are difficult to photograph. Blind dogs, blind and deaf dogs or nine 6-week old puppies that never stopped moving! She captures their beauty and personalities perfectly. Martha's prices are reasonable and she is easy to work with. HIGHLY recommend her for your photography needs!
Our family gets pet family photo shoots a few times a year from Portraits by Martha. The quality of the photos I have purchased are spectacular. She uses professional lighting and equipment, gorgeous backgrounds, fun props, costumes, treats and works with excellent assistants. We’ve had multiple sessions with Martha and absolutely love her work! She’s amazing with our dogs and gets incredible shots. She somehow even gets our blind and deaf dog to look at the camera. She did a professional headshot for me as well and I loved it. I found her to be very reasonably priced and always impressed with the turnaround time!
Dishonest and shady. $40 pet photography advertised with no additional notes or mentions of extra charges. All of a sudden it’s 150 dollars for 5 pictures??? For the 25 pictures of our dog we had taken for $40, we now have to pay an additional 500ish dollars for the finished pictures. Nothing mentioned of this at all. A $40 charge upfront, probably to cover the cost of your time since you know nobody is gonna pay the “surprise fee” of a few hundred dollars. Shame.
