I had an extremely disappointing experience with this company. Communication was terrible from the start. You can only dispute through email and they take forever to respond, and when they finally do, they never seem to have clear answers or solutions. 1 Star – Harassment, Negligence, and Complete Disregard for the Elderly Portnoff Law Group has been an absolute nightmare to deal with. Despite being clearly and legally tax-exempt, my elderly parents have been repeatedly harassed over alleged Lehighton Area School District taxes that are not owed. I don't understand why I bought a house in August 2023, the previous owner had a notarized tax payment in full. I sent them the tax notarization but they didn't see it and didn't know. They continued to send the tax arrears papers for 2011, 2012... a total of 12 years of tax arrears to confiscate my property. I think everyone should pay their own debt.
