I visited Portmans Wetherill Park yesterday (22/01/2026) and had a very disappointing experience. The lady who served me was quite rude and not gentle in the way she spoke or handled the situation. I felt uncomfortable and dismissed as a customer. I wasn’t asking for anything unreasonable and I was paying with my own money, not asking for anything for free or for her to donate items to me. I came into Portmans for the first time last week and was greeted by the lovely Jackie she was kind and sweet and offered exceptional customer service skills she helped me choose a couple of outfit and guided me towards a selection. I would love to commemorate Jackie on her amazing customer service skills i will be definitely coming back. Cheers
I bought a long winter coat from this store. It was exactly as described, but I changed my mind and wanted to return it. Even though the coat was clean, unused, and I had the receipt with me, they refused to accept the return just because the tag was missing. This is the first time I’ve ever heard of something like that! I was on a call now with one of the stuff to ask for a coat if it’s available in store or not. She was so rude for no reason! I was nice to her as I said to hey how are you when she answered my call as she ignored me!! A couple of minutes later I told her alright thank you bye bye see you, her reply to me was ‘ alright then bye’ with an attitude. this is super rude and we were 4 minutes on a call I couldn’t even believe that she was that rude to me for no reason.
