I had a wonderful experience shopping for some new work clothes today. Erin was very helpful. She searched for a number of different styles for me to try on and made me feel looked after without being obsequious.
The old blonde lady is extremely rude. I returned a jacket as it was no longer needed for an event , I accepted that I wasn’t entitled to a refund - was happy to go along with getting credit or an exchange. The old lady was very snappy and bitter. The young sales assistant with brown hair was amazing! I feel sorry for her to work with such a hag
I went shopping to get some new clothes for work today and I have always loved Portmans for my work clothes. However, when I went in today I was not greeted once, asked if I needed help or even acknowledged. I picked up some pants and tried them on and I went to put them back to grab a different size, I again wasn’t acknowledged or asked if I needed help after I walked straight past them. The lady serving me (blonde shoulder length hair) was attentive and efficient and when I couldn't find the size I needed she checked the stock in the back (without being asked to) and I ended up purchasing the item. The other sales lady (med dark hair) although not part of my sale, was very friendly and acknowledged me and complimented my purchase - an all round lovely experience
