RecommendedI have lived at Porthaven Manor for six months; I can be as involved in the community as I feel on any given day. After the lockdown is over, we can get back to craft and handicraft activities, a library and a get-together at the fireside in the afternoon. Many of us really enjoy the great movies shown in the theatre two nights a week. Residents are friendly and staff is helpful and kind. the activities are many and varied. card groups, pool players, Bingo, Birthday parties not to mention all holidays are celebrated with a party. Don't forget to mention movies in our theatre with fresh popped corn. our activity director Brenda has even kept us busy in our apartments with the lockdown proceeding at a snail's pace. we have musical groups every week we aren't locked down we go to the casino and frankenmuth,light rides at Christmas and lots of plays. so if you like happy,busy people come here.
The place is pretty stress-free (until it's not)🥀🌺🌼🌻🌹 but we get through it and keep on keepin' on
Overpriced small appartments
I've never heard of an independent living facility that sounds so fun. There's always something cool going on at Porthaven Manor. Movie nights, Radio control cars!, game nights, tiki parties. It makes me wanna be 65
For a good time call......! The new craft teacher is awesome. She is working with the guys to make drones. SUPER COOL!
