I was lucky enough to spend a week with girlfriends at this special retreat. It was fantastic to arrive to a well stocked house with comfortable beds and a room with a view! So nice to enjoy a coffee on the verandah and a wine by the pool. The outlook of the property to the hills is so beautiful and we enjoyed walking to the river and back in the morning with girls. If you need a relaxing break, this is the place to go!
My partner and I recently got married at Lakeside Retreat and our two families stayed on the property for 5 days over the duration of the wedding. It was beyond what we both hoped for and everyone who attended the commented on what a beautiful property it was. The rooms were all comfortable and both houses had all of the amenities we needed. The pool was great and the decks were wonderful for breakfasts and afternoon drinks.
This property is simply out of this world. It has everything you need and more. What a magical location. The houses are stunning and provided such a comfortable stay. The pool is amazing too. It was very hard place to leave.
Such an amazing place to stay. Only a short trip in to the Main Street to visit the shops and restaurants. The house and facilities are so good though you don’t really need to leave.
I highly recommend experiencing this private paradise! Immaculate accommodation, stunning tropical gardens and resort style pool, tranquil surrounds and only a short drive to town. Port Douglas Lakeside Retreat is truly special.
