More than anticipated! Delicious vegetarian sandwich, too! The popover bread is unique and delicious. The staff are cool and kind. They also have ono local classics… The flavor and care put into the food is of much higher quality than the cafeteria-like ambience suggests ; )
This was our first visit and it is our favorite place in Hilo, now. My husband ordered the Breakfast Sausage Popover and I got the Breakfast Flatbread. We were blown away by the flavors! I was trying to eat my flatbread before it was cool enough, but I didn’t care! It was delicious! And my husband tore up his popover sandwich. The staff were very friendly and the donuts are out of the world. Got a popover as well which was very good and overall a great breakfast spot 10/10 it a must in Hilo
We stopped by Popover on the way to an event in Hilo and we were very impressed. The breakfast sandwiches were large and filled to the brim with toppings. The sauce they put on the breakfast sandwich is amazing. Despite it being filled up with toppings I suggest putting it back together like a sandwich for eating. We ordered ahead online and only had a 10-15 min pick up time. Staff were very friendly and joked with me as I picked up the order. I highly recommend trying them out for your next breakfast on the go.
