It is always difficult to place someone in a facility, especially if you live a long way from the area. My parents moved to Poplar Grove several years ago and received unbelievable care. They were loved, appreciated and watched over with respect. Now it is just my mother and she has dementia, but is just as loved, appreciated and watched over. My sisters and I feel so very lucky to have a facility in which we can place such trust and feel comfortable that they will take care of Mom to the best of their ability. .
We were extremely lucky to be able to find Poplar Grove when our parents needed more care. The attendants are wonderful, kind, and thoughtful. The food is excellent (I know from first-hand experience) and great care is taken with the meds. I believe I speak for my entire family when I recommend Poplar Grove Assisted Living to anyone needing more care for a loved one.
