Poopie and Sebastian dressing rooms – Every time I've been there, I've waited no less than 20 minutes for a dressing room while OCD girls from Long Island and the like tug on and admire themselves. I figured that since the moved to a bigger location (now on 78th and 2nd Avenue), the problem would be over. Nope. I was just there today and waited over 20 minutes. Pookie's VS Strawberry's – Beware of certain Items sold in Pookie, I bought a top there for $100 and found the same exact top in Strawberry's for $9.99. I recently spotted several other items sold at Pookies at Straweberrys for under $20. Since Pookies puts their own labels in, it is very likely they buy the same brands as some of the 'cehap' stores. Shopper's Delight – Wonderful selection, trendy and (kinda) affordable, this shopaholic's favorite boutique in new york! And they recently expanded their fitting room area, so all the better. Only warning --- no returns, only merchandise credit, so make sure you really want those $125 jeans...
My New Favorite Store! – I used to shop at bigdrop a lot, and then one day on my way home I saw pookie and sebastian..and decided to go in and take a look...well I'M SO GLAD I DID! cuz I've found my new favorite store...their stuffs are incredibly cute , sales people are friendly, and the price's unbeatable! oh but, they don't carry a lot of XS sizes...so if you're petite like me, you probably have less choices in the store.. but overall it's a store I'd give an A !
Great clothes at great prices! – I found out about Pookie & Sebastian from my roommates and after my first visit I was in love. The clothes are awesoms and most are under $100. My main complaints are that at times the clothes seem not to be constructed very well (loose seams) and the staff is very rude. I am pretty much ignored ever visit. Wheover keeps getting great customer service must have "rich" written on their face becsuse I certainly have received no such treatment. Overall though it's a great place to shop.
GLAD I FOUND POOKIE! – I am so glad I found Pookie & Sebastian. I was standing in line for the movies downtown and in line I keep seeing these pink adorable bags that said Pookie & Sebastian. I finally went up to this girl and asked her what is Pookie & Sebastian. She stated that this store is her favorite store and offers the best clothes in NYC! WELL she is right! The clothes, prices, and quality are unbelivable! All I can say is I am glad I found such a great store!
AMAZING STORE! – I love this store! They have the most unique items you cant find ANYWHERE! I have so much fun at Pookie! They have the BEST CLOTHES, BEST QUALITY, BEST PRICES, and most of all BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE! I tell everyone about this store! It really is an amazing store!
store is over rated – some clothes (the name brand ones) are of course great quality but when you get to the ones that are a no name label but adorable top or has their cheesy "Pookie & Sebastian" label on it ( which i doubt they designed and made) it is terrible quality not to mention the fact that low end stores such as Forever 21, Wet Seal, Joyce Leslie, etc will carry the same if not similar shirt, this store is so over priced its insane. the accessories you can find from street vendors for half the price. i own alot of ... read more
