This is a great locally owned and operated bike shop. Vince and Jess along with their loyal pets run a great ship. Neighborly service, well stocked accessories and parts. Really cool bikes old and new. I just "built" a brand new Otso w Vince's expertise and knowledge. I knew what I wanted and he knew just how and what to assemble. I'm a kid again. Riding my new bike smiling from ear to ear. It never gets old. yolo!!
As a bicycle commuter and overnight tourer, Ponderosa is where I get my bicycle necessities and an honest, trustworthy repair and tune up. Vince is a human encyclopedia about vintage and new cycles, and he and Jess are passionate about helping everybody to have a good cycling experience.
Whether you're a newbie or a legend, check this place out. Cool folks who understand bikes through and through. They don't want to get you on a bike, they want to get you on YOUR bike. I first walked in to Ponderosa Cyclery in 2014 (I think?). Since then some things have changed about the business: a new location, different staff, and more brands being offered.
